we endured another year of pats run! this is my 5th year being involved with this race (worked at it for 2 and participated for 3), justin's 2nd and dyson's 1st and i truly do love it. its for a great cause and the atmosphere and not to lie the jersey and free goodies afterwards is always fantasic!
my goal is to do it in under 40 minutes but that definitely didnt happen this year...long story. one day though!!! and yes...yes i did have to pee 
the race is 4.2 miles long representing pat tillman's jersey #42 for ASU (#40 for the cardinals) but we figured we basically walked a 10k today. we had to walk 3/4 mile to get to the run, then we did the 4.2 miles, then we did the .42 mile kid run with dyson, and then we walked another 3/4 mile to get to our car. awesome. 
dyson LOVED LOVED the kids run. he held justin's hand the entire time and then ran to the finish line by himself. it was only $5 for him to do it and he got a goodie bag and shirt with it as well. totally worth it and recommend it 100%. 
the finish line is on the 42 yard line in the sun devils stadium and he loved walking around the field and seeing little people like him everywhere. umm..and the gray shorts choice was not mine just so you know...

Fun fun Lee family! We will have to join forces next year. It would be super fun :) Plus, I like the gray pants - what's wrong with them?!
We should run it together some time. I'll help you get under that 40 minutes! Missed it this year - I was out of town. Do you run the turkey trot at Red Mountain Park?
